For PC, as far as I know, you dont have to worry about it, If im correct, most of the time its usually the motherboard that controls and solve this problems,when something is wrong, it will often tell you at startup.tho a different story for laptops
GT 710 is a good graphic card,(used it before)tho struggles to med-end games,(i had a i7 processor so this can be worst)
GT 610, from what I heard, Its good for its time,idk bout its performace to new games tho.
From my experience from Processor and Graphic changing,You just have to read instructions , install the components carefully and everything should go smoothly,since PC motherboards are often ready for component changes or additions.
Also, as you are changing from AMD to NVIDIA, after installing the components, you have to go to the website and install the drivers.
