btw why not the GTX 280? its absolutely better with its 1gb of video memory though it costs more than a PS3 O_O

setting compatibility on both "launchGTAIV" and "GTAIV" will bypass the forcing service packs on ppl part 

what do you set it to?

EDIT: if you right click on the gtaivlauncher.exe and click on propeties, go on to compatability and set it to run with windows 2000 you can run it with out SP3

I tried to run GTA4 today and it runs, but I can't set the view distance above 1

have 2x 7600GT on SLI, so it should be enought to met the minimum req.

Or, save a fortune by buying a better card online for cheaper, while at the same time not supporting Twatal1ty.

I got the minimum specs, even a little better. but you nead a really good graphics card, cuz mine is not so good, which makes the game run slow and I even put it on 800x600 but still really slow. I need money :p
