Will you play MTA:SA when GTA4 comes out?

but once it  comes for the pc... im not sure  im not sure when it comes out for pc though

If and when it does come out for PC, you'll probably need a DX10 graphics card, 2gigs of ram and a 3ghz core2duo pentium... which counts me out

It would be a stupid move (stupid doesn't cut it, really) to use DX10 exclusively.
2 GB of RAM is becoming more and more "standard", you'll need it eventually, not that it's a problem, look at RAM prices if you haven't, you can get 4 GB RAM for €60 over here!
There's no such thing as a Core 2 Duo Pentium

All in all, should you need to upgrade (most likely RAM), it will not kill you off.

heh, i kinda said that with tongue in cheek... but yea, i guess everthing is coming down in price... i just hate spending money on non-productive things like gaming 

the way im thinking, is it'd cost me almost the same to buy a new motherboard and good CPU + DX10 card (my 6200 is the lower end of DX9 cards... i may as well upgrade properly) + 2 GB ram, to buy a ps3 + gta4... i dont have the money for either!

Anyway, you have half a year or more to save up for when it comes out for the PC. No problem. :-)

I also don't understand the problem with spending money on non-productive things. Do you also hate spending money on, say a ticket for the movies? We can't go around and be mr. productive all the time. :-) You have to weigh the amount of time you spend in front of the computer against how much you money you're going to spend on it.

Ah, that's a void argument though
A PS3 + GTA4 might cost less, but you're forgetting that most people can't live without a computer, so often their lowrange PC + PS3 + GTA4 (+ TV - though almost everyone has one ) will come very close, if not going over, the price of just getting a decent PC in the first place

GTA4 is a great gta, but you haven't all custom maps of the mta:race/dm mod...

First period, lots of players will going on gta4... but mta will be used for about 1 year more.

... which they'll release a few years after GTA 5 ships. Really, I don't think you should keep your hopes up for a mod for GTA IV from the MTA team. I think they only bought that domain so they would have it in case they wanted to do it anyway.

true, but gta4 has a new engine, so mta4 would have to be written from scratch

I will probably play this version until the new mta comes out
