Techniques...
« on: August 14, 2009, 11:20:28 PM »
When yer dueling with the duel weapons like uzi's/sawn's is there any actual techniques that people use? Or does everyone just run around and spray and pray and try to lead aim there opponent as best as they can? Like... What's the perfect time to aim and shoot at someone with sawns? When their reloading, when their out of breath? etc stuff like this. Is their any advantages sync wise that will help your weapon be accurate such as the position of the player model, angle that the player model is facing?? Stuff like this. I know about leadaiming already but I was wondering if there was anymore. ^^

Hope you guys know what i'm talking about or else i'm gonna look like a looney.  ???

Always go in zig zag lines, but never in small circles. And a cool thing I picked up from watching nightmare, takes some practise to coordinate right but it's to go in a zigzag line directly towards the opponent and then do a semi circle so you are directly behind him and shoot exactly behind you with sawn off.
In any case I like to use walking weapons more then running weapons  :P

You run as random as possible, turn alot, etc. You have to be as unpredictable as possible.. That's when you fight skilled ppl.
When you fight ppl that aims at the body or uses auto aim, just run around them quick, close to them etc. Atleast that's how I do it.

For me it depends on whether I can avoid their bullets or not. If I keep getting, hit, then I tend to sprint really fast in random movements until they shoot their sawns and switch to uzis/tecs, and when they start shooting with those, they slow down, and thats when you are going to want to shoot them with sawns.

Sometimes though, they are thinking the exact same thing you are, so it's like a matter of outsmarting them.

I suggest practicing your movements. You can be the best lead aimer/shooter out there, but if you aren't moving, they are just going to kill you first.

Ask a joker to show you there a friendly bunch. So I suppose they can teach you how to fight. I cannot help as I am a joypad noob :(.

Edit: by wWallie -> Sorry forgot that some people would actually take it serious..

Anyway, apart from what's said already mind your surroundings.
The Duel Arena is a nice place and all that, but teh real battle is where cars drive 24/7 and you can prepare to get backshot by someone else too.
Make use of the buildings/objects around you if you're doing a reload or something, don't make it too obvious cause they'll just aim for the vehicle if they know where you's goin.

Alright thanks for the feedback guise! During my play on VC-MP I dunno if it's the same on SA-MP though I think it would be. Afterawhile of playing you get to know people, feel more relaxed, get to know the sync inside out and make use of it. Also one of the most important things i've noticed about when I was playing vc-mp that I will always remember is how at first the battles seemed very fast paced like warp speed but now after playing so long... it's like they get slower and slower but they aren't literally it's just in my mind that i've grown used to them and they appear that way.

my trick is secret ;D

I teached u that -_-
Hanney SAMP is way more harder to get skilled then in VCMP. And when u use sawnoffs, uzis just run and get a unique way of how to move while u rinning (left right bla bla)
And also i always use A S and D buttons when im uzing, it's a good way :)
